Anthony’s experience in children’s and family entertainment spans over 25 years internationally, with highlights including roles in television as Supervising Producer, Associate Producer and Head Writer, as well as Creative Director, Writer and Director of live events.
He started work in television as an on-air presenter and suit character costume performer on "Here’s Humphrey", Australia’s longest running and iconic pre-school program, produced by Banksia Productions for the Nine Network. Over the next 14 years he went on to become Associate Producer of the Humphrey program, writing, directing, character training, choreographing, interstitial creation, and program editing.
An opportunity arose in London to work with children’s brand giant HIT Entertainment. Working with HIT’s number one children’s brands, Thomas & Friends, Bob the Builder, Barney, Angelina Ballerina, Pingu and Fireman Sam; Anthony led the creative side of the Live Events team, as Live Events Project Manager and Creative Director, developing, writing and directing their first ever in-house productions that continue to tour globally.
After working for HIT in the UK, Anthony returned to Australia where he worked as an independent Creative Consultant for several leading production companies. He created content for multiple children’s brands with highlights including the World Premiere of both the Chuggington Live and Jim Henson’s Dinosaur Train Live. Anthony wrote and directed “Classroom Capers”, the Looney Tunes Live ticketed show, which has toured internationally to four countries within the Asia Pacific region. Plus his live productions of Sesame Street, LazyTown, Care Bears and Strawberry Shortcake have all received major press and publicity.
Recently relocated to Los Angeles, Anthony worked for Ora TV on a 24 episode series as Head Writer and Supervising Producer. Creating the second season of the Hybrid Live Action / Animated series Q Wunder for EQtainment.
