As a writer for both television and live theatre, Anthony has written scripts for a majority of the world’s number one children’s brands including;

In 2017, After completing his role as Head Writer for Season 2 of EQtainment's "Q Wunder", Anthony accepted the new role of Supervising Producer for this hybrid animated/live action 24 episode children’s series. He oversaw all aspects of development, pre-production, animation production and post-production, through to delivery.

His responsibilities included building the production team, overseeing talent casting, live action recording, post production editing, music composition, animation roughs/refinement and finals, directing voice record sessions and ADR, and finals approvals on compositing and the final mix. Throughout production he managed the budget, maintained brand consistency, and liaised directly with the Vice President of Ora TV.

Q Wunder is a hybrid live-action / animated children's series based around the adventures of a genius monkey, Q, who has a lot to learn when it comes to Emotional Intelligence.

 

Highlights include:

- Developing a strong story and injecting more comedy

- Building and working with a solid creative and production team

- Creating a series that benefits children at an emotional learning level

 

Anthony was also Associate Producer for “Here’s Humphrey”, Australia’s longest running and iconic pre-school program, Anthony worked along side the show’s Executive Producer to create a new-look series for the next generation of Humphrey fans.

Anthony wrote scripts and lyrics, created animated interstitials and communicated with the commissioning board to maintain the show’s Pre-School classification. He also produced and wrote all the location segments for an entire series.

- Development of the 'new look' structure of the series

- Crearion of animated intistituals along with writing the lyrics to the songs

- Working with a composer on the development of new music for the series

Anthony worked as Live Events Creative Director on several projects for the Children’s brand giant HIT Entertainment based out of their London office. He worked closely with the Director of Live Events and Attractions and the Producers of the television content to bring HIT's animated brands to life in the real world.

As a leading director in children’s theatrical productions, Anthony’s credits include the World Premiere of both Chuggington Live and Dinosaur Train Live, Looney Tunes “Classroom Capers” which toured across two continents and HIT Entertainment’s Global launch of The Little Big Club in Dubai.

Working in the Live Events and Attractions department of HIT Entertainment in London, Anthony was immersed in every aspect of how a brand works, and is divided, on a global corporate level. When developing a concept for HIT he would maintain contact with the program’s Producers, Consumables, Marketing, Public Relations, and Legal.

 

Anthony has represented Brand Owners, when they can't be present, while dealing with numerous external production companies, producers, writers, clients, cast, costume and set builders. For example during the construction of the set and characters for the World Premiere of Chuggington Live, Ludorum the brand owners in the UK, charged Anthony with the authority to not only maintain the highest level of quality, but to have the construction team remain loyal and strict with the actual brand.

 

Highlights include:

- Bringing together and character training over 40 "Fat Controller's" for the 'Day's Out With Thomas' Events, UK

- Along with ZAZZ Project Management maintain quality and control of the Day's Out With Thomas Events UK and Australia

- Maintaining brand awareness in the construction of the first Thomasland UK

- Development of the 'new look' live character costumes, through Rainbow Productions, for the crossover to the new CGI style

Anthony has worked with leading Children’s Brands for over two decades, giving him a remarkable insight to how a brand is created, developed and delivered.

In this time Anthony has developed several original concepts for Children's television, both live action and animation, with an age range from pre-school to tweens shows.

His concepts were singled out by the ABC (Australian Broadcasting Corporation) to workshop as part of the SPAA conference in Sydney.
